Scuola delle Arti e della Formazione Professionale

International
projects

Starting with the “Giovani Scultori” project in 2011, Scuola Vantini has also focused on organizing international initiatives—sculpture symposia and the Summer Marble School—with the aim of bringing young artists into contact with Brescia’s marble, enhancing its artistic potential, and promoting its knowledge.

During their time at our school, young artists have the opportunity not only to learn how to work Botticino marble in a fully equipped workshop under the guidance of expert sculptors, but also to take part in a rich program of complementary activities (seminars, workshops, guided tours, concerts, etc.). These are designed both to offer participants opportunities for exchange and deeper understanding of our territory and its cultural and artistic identity, and to encourage meaningful integration with the local community.

Summer Marble School

The Summer Marble School is an intensive workshop focused on the artistic carving of Botticino marble, held in the sculpture workshop of Scuola Vantini in Rezzato.

Use of the sculpture workshop for international artists

Artists will have the opportunity to use our fully equipped sculpture workshop and work with the fine Botticino marble, renowned for its superior quality and remarkable beauty. They will have access to the workshop space and equipment provided by the School for a period suitable for the development of their own artistic project. They will also have the opportunity to engage with our sculpture instructors, sharing valuable practices and gaining deeper insight into the techniques of working with Botticino marble.
